IT Manager for your Business

Remote IT Support

Network now resolves 90% of all IT issues as soon as the problem is reported to us by using remote control software. No more logging a call and waiting several weeks for the IT department to respond, Network resolves issues immediately. Our remote control software allows us to take over control of any computer (with the users permission) within around 1 minute. If the problem can't be resolved remotely depending on your contract with us our engineer will head out straight away or the issue will be added to the regular weekly or monthly visit.

Network offers helpdesk/user support from 9am to 17:30pm. Any urgent server support or other urgent support is provided out of hours through a dedicated out of hours support number. We aim to resolve IT issues immediately.

Tracking System

Network operates a comprehensive issue tracking system to ensure that all issues are recorded and dealt with efficiently. The system means that both Network and its clients can easily see all of the outstanding IT issues in one place and look back through the history of issues that have been dealt with. The system records a log of what the problem was and the resolutions, which can help with future problem solving.

Computer Health Check

When you sign up to our service for a 12 month period, we’ll start with a full IT health check which provides:

  • system check, including disk error checks and removal of unwanted programmes
  • review of the software you use
  • assessment of your back-up procedure
  • security assessment (including anti-virus measures)
  • assessment of your email system
  • assessment of your web site
  • an IT stocklist summarising the IT assets in your business
  • a report with our recommendations for improving, stabilising your IT or transitioning to cloud services.

Checklists

When adding a new user to your system or setting up a new PC/Laptop we build up a checklist so that all of the applications and settings that are needed are configured as they should be every time. New users hit the ground running and computer upgrades go smoothly.

Have you restarted your computer?

It has to be the most annoying question that your IT support department asks you but sometimes it’s all that is required to resolve a problem. Microsoft Windows has millions of lines of computer code and on average of 1 bug per 1000 lines of code, if you find one normally a restart will resolve the issue.

If the first thing we ask after hearing the description of the problem is “have you restarted your computer?” and the answer we get is “yes”, its music to our ears as we can look further into the problem with no further delay!
